Whenever someone tells me they’re thinking of trying yoga for the first time, I always recommend they watch a few YouTube videos first so they know what to expect. I like her videos because they’re easy to follow, and she always provides clear cues and instructions to make sure you don’t hurt yourself, and that you get the most out of the pose.

Adriene’s “Yoga For Weight Loss” is a sequence that uses the entire body to stimulate the digestive tract and promote weight loss.
Day 2 – Stretch & Soothe – 30 Days of Yoga
It makes perfect sense that Adriene’s “Day 2 of 30 Days of Yoga” lands in the top 5 videos. After everyone’s done Day 1, they need the Day 2 stretch and soothe for their sore muscles! 😂
Yoga For Beginners – 40 Minute Home Yoga Workout
If you’re a yoga beginner, or you’re coming back to the mat after a hiatus, this is a great flow for you. The focus is on foundations as a way to increase flexibility and create space in the body. It’s a solid 40-minute yoga sequence that you can use on a regular basis.
The great thing about YouTube videos is that you can watch and practice in the privacy of your own home. Nobody needs to know that you tried yoga. If you fall, if you look silly, if you feel dumb, it’s okay, nobody needs to know you tried it. That’s the beauty of YouTube! That being said, I hope this emboldens you to try some yoga with Adriene.
