“People might say what I am doing is wrong, but it is more of a crime to have the apostrophes wrong in the first place.”
Have you ever driven or walked by a storefront and noticed a grammatical error? One man in Bristol got so tired of seeing grammatically incorrect storefront signs that he took matters into his own hands and started correcting them.
This guy is hardcore. Under the cloak of night, he goes around Bristol adding or removing incorrectly used apostrophes, and he’s been doing this for the past 13 years! His corrections have been met with mixed emotions, but you gotta admit, it’s kinda cute how passionate this guy is about proper use of the English language.
“When I look at a sign and I have been the one that’s done that and made it grammatically correct, it does make my heart swell slightly when I see the correct apostrophe.”
